Top Blog Posts of 2013

Untitled-1

Okay, okay, I know I am a fairly young blog (started in May of 2013) and I really did debate on whether I should post a “Top Blog Posts” article. After all, the first half of 2013 my blog was just me sitting around over coffee with friends and whining about how awesome my blog would be if I ever got around to, ya know, actually making it.

But since I fully intend to keep this blog going as a chronicle of my interests and family life, I know I’ll want to do a “Top Blog Posts” for 2014. And then all my lovely posts of 2013 circulating around Pinterest wouldn’t get a mention! And I simply can’t have that! 😉

The posts and their pictures are fairly self-explanatory, so without further ado, I give you my Top Blog Posts of 2013!

Hahaha, I swear, we are the same people. Just… ya know… different.. people. Okay, haha, I thought that was going to sound cooler. 😛
I am only RECENTLY a tea fanatic. In my quest to wean myself off of coffee, I’ve adopted nighttime tea drinking habits!

My wife creates the smallest origami I’ve ever seen. She does this thing that looks like a flying crane, and once made one so small I had to use a magnifying glass to see the detail. One day the housekeeper dusted it right into the pan and tossed it into the trash. That was not a good day at our house. Lol.

My husband likes to make tiny origami too! I had a friend I used to work with who taught origami workshops at the local Japanese Art and Culture Museum back home, and he would make some so small that he had to use tweezers and needles and magnifying glass to fold them! I, on the other hand, have the grace and finesse of a bull in a China shop, and I feel lucky when I manage to fold something that resembles anything but a wad of paper.. haha…
