Foundmi Bluetooth Tracking Tags for Geeks

FINALLY!! A Bluetooth tracking tag for pop culture fans!

Time to toss out those nondescript and tacky looking white tile thingys geeks and geeklets.

These fun and functional little gadgets serve as the perfect bag and electronics bling, hearkening back to those good old days of picking up Star Wars and DC keychains at Hot Topic. (Or, ya know, buying random keychains at the con because you blew all your money on just GETTING THERE. You know what I’m talking about.)

With these chibi style cuties competitively priced to their boring tracker contemporaries, there is no excuse to sport boring trackers anymore. Check it out!

More About Foundmi Trackers

From the Foundmi website (CLICK HERE to visit)

Foundmi are bluetooth tracking tags that we decided to have some fun with. These trackers make keeping an eye on your stuff way easier, and they look good while doing it. You can hook them to your keys or stick them to your tablet and never have to look for them again. Take your pick of Star Wars or DC characters, and show off your fandom while keeping track of everything you love.

Attach a Foundmi hero to anything and instantly find it by sound using the app’s alert function. When in Bluetooth range, the alert option will cause your tag to emit a loud alarm allowing you to quickly find the stuff you love.

Once Foundmi is paired to your smart phone, you can remotely alert your misplaced phone. Simply double tap the button on your Foundmi tag to sound the alarm on your phone and find it fast.

The app automatically records the last time and place it was connected to your Foundmi hero. When your tagged item leaves Bluetooth range, the Foundmi app will instantly stamp the last time and place it was in contact. The app allows you to view that location on a map and will provide the nearest known address for easy reference.

Foundmi also has a bonus feature that is going to dramatically up your selfie game. Put your Foundmi in Selfie Mode and your tag becomes a remote shutter button for your phone’s camera.

My Thoughts on the Foundmi Trackers

First and foremost, I LOVE that these do not LOOK like trackers, they just looks like a little bit of epic bling for your gadgets or bags. The cops daughter in me figures that having an obvious tracker on your possessions just targets them as something of value to be stolen.

But really, these things are just so stinkin CUTE! They are a creative keychain worthy piece of bling, and I can’t imagine any Star Wars or DC fan NOT wanting one (or all!) of these.

I anticipate using the finding phone option more than losing my actual bag… I cannot remember the last time I lost my bag, but I lose my phone about, oh, 86 times a day?? Give or take a dozen? Seriously though, this makes finding my phone a cinch. (Usually it is lost somewhere IN my purse..)

Anyway, love love love! I plan on slapping these bad boys all over my valuables. <3

Oh wow, these are awesome. I really do like the idea of trackers, but these are so cool. It’s nice that they don’t look like trackers, like you said.
