Camping, Hiking and Cave Touring in the Sequoias!

This past Wednesday was my 29th birthday! Yay, happy birthday me! All I wanted for my birthday was a camping trip in the Sequoias… the last time we went camping I was 28 weeks pregnant with Tessa at the Grand Canyon. That’s far too long to wait for some sleeping in the great outdoors if you ask me!
I was born and raised within easy driving distance from Sequoia National Park, and it is like a second home to me. However, in all my 29 years of living near the Sequoias, I have never been to the famous Crystal Cave! So we did that this trip too!
We were joined by our friends the Buckley’s (though the girls couldn’t make it) and we had a great night camping under the stars, laughing and joking around the fire, splashing in Marble River and hiking through the gorgeous redwood meadows up to Tokepah Falls. We had such a blast we’re already planning for our next trip.. in less than two weeks! lol!
