Redmond’s Natural Earthpaste Giveaway

A couple of days ago, I posted a review on Redmond’s COMPLETELY natural toothpaste – Earthpaste. Some of you gave some great responses – both familiar and in love with the product or unfamiliar and curious.
So good news for the fans and the curious! The awesome folks at Redmond have offered to one lucky winner on my blog TWO tubes of Earthpaste, your choice of flavor!

A Little Bit About Redmond’s Earthpaste

From Redmond’s Earthpaste website:
We created Earthpaste because we were frustrated trying to find toothpaste pure enough for our kids to use. Some brands skipped sodium lauryl sulphate, but not titanium dioxide. Others were fluoride-free but still had glycerin. We wanted toothpaste so pure each ingredient would help support good health, and after a lot of careful research, we made Earthpaste.
It’s toothpaste unlike any other you’ve experienced. Earthpaste is safe to eat. Each ingredient has been used to support healthy systems. Earthpaste is amazingly natural toothpaste. You’ll see the difference on your brush and feel the difference in your mouth.

A Little More On the Natural Ingredients

If you are unsure as to why anyone would want to switch to a natural toothpaste, click here to read about 5 Common Ingredients Found in Toothpaste That Are Horrible For Your Health (Among Dozens of Others!)
Knowing the many toxic and pointless ingredients that litter the average tube of toothpaste, it’s refreshing to see that Earthpaste ingredients consist of: Purified Water. Redmond Clay. Essential Oils. Real Salt. Xylitol. That’s it!
Redmond Clay – This is the primary ingredient in Earthpaste. Redmond Clay is a completely natural, food grade healing clay that has been used medicinally since ancient times.  It works as a polishing cleanser on your teeth, with inherent antibacterial properties. When consumed, food grade Redmond Clay also promotes digestive health!
Xylitol – This is a natural sweetener that is extracted from woody, fibrous plant material, like shrubs, trees or bark. Redmond only sources non-GMO certified xylitol extracted from sustainable birch or corn cobs. Xylitol acts as a sweetener, (it tastes just like white table sugar!) and it has been shown to promote healthy teeth by fighting cavities and significantly reducing tooth decay.
Redmond Real Salt – Redmond’s signature salt (the reason I contacted them in the first place!) is a natural sea salt with more than 60 trace minerals! It is used in the toothpaste to enhance the flavor and lend antibacterial properties.
Essential Oils – These oils (they use different ones based on each toothpaste flavor) supports oral health with the various properties of the oils, ranging from anti-viral to anti-fungal properties. All of the oils leave your breath fresh and your mouth feeling clean.

I need something for my sensitive teeth. We *especially me* take in so many artificial, chemical laden things in our diet and hygiene, switching to Natural when possible is a good thing.

I have been wanting to try Earthpaste since I first heard about it. I think the amount of unnecessary and dangerous ingredients in the majority of health and beauty products is ridiculous. Would love to win!

  • 4 March, 2014 at 3:06 am

  • 5 March, 2014 at 6:38 am

I think using a natural toothpaste is important because you wouldn’t want to brush your teeth with something you wouldn’t be comfortable eating, there is a chance you might!

  • 5 March, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Does this help with sensitivity and will my kids like it?

    • 5 March, 2014 at 4:40 pm

I believe it is one of the more non-abrasive toothpastes out there. I have sensitive gums, and it is gentle enough for my use!

  • 5 March, 2014 at 5:22 pm

I want to put masking tape over the R and pretend that we have our own “edmond’s” toothpaste… I kid! I kid! Always on the lookout for a good toothpaste that leaves a good minty taste in our mouths. And if it’s natural, all the better!

  • 5 March, 2014 at 6:06 pm

I am really focused on clean eating right now and would like to get rid of chemical-laden toothpaste as a next step towards greening and cleaning my life.

  • 6 March, 2014 at 1:30 pm

Mainstream toothpaste has so many harmful ingredients. A toothpaste with simple, all-natural ingredients is the way to go.

  • 6 March, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Redmond’s looks particularly wonderful for a couple of reasons. First, I don’t use fluoride because I have found it to make my teeth particularly brittle. and second I have noticed that many ‘natural’ toothpastes that do not have fluoride have other things in them like SLS that we also stay away from. This seems like just a perfect mix of ingredients.

  • 8 March, 2014 at 2:04 pm

I like to use natural toothpaste because I am terrified of flouride. Right now we are using a paste made from bees wax and Im not too fond of the taste!

  • 9 March, 2014 at 9:00 pm

I would love to try a natural toothpaste to remove flouride from our toothpaste! We are trying to switch to more natural products and it just seems natural (haha) to do that for our teeth as well. 🙂

  • 12 March, 2014 at 10:46 am

I use to use Toms so hopefully this is just as good

  • 12 March, 2014 at 7:26 pm

i would like to see the difference it makes to my oral health
