I am the queen of mixtapes, just gonna throw that out there right now. My Spotify playlist library has some kickass jams for basically every mood and occasion.
I have a WIDE range of interests, so my playlists range from Disney beats to bluegrass jams to yogi diva vibes. And I LOVE naming and putting cover images on my playlists… “Banjos and Moonshine”, “Campfires and Coffee” and “Rustic Recalibration” are some of my favs.
I just wanted to share with you guys my most recent mixtape / playlist that I’ve dubbed “Self Love Beats”… I put this together to play when I go through my morning and evening self care and grooming ritual. It legit elevates simple tasks like brushing your teeth and washing your face to a dreamy, trance-like music video moment of a goddess pampering herself.
I gleaned a lot of these beats from the “Downward Dog Alt Beats” playlist and then supplemented the music with some of my handpicked favorites. The list is now as close to perfection as you can get, haha… There is just something magical about alt beat music that opens my mind to a deeper, more peaceful way of being.
For me, music with a good beat and a great message carries me straight into the full embrace of love, joy, and serenity. These songs capture that loving-myself, loving-life and loving-everybody feeling of living. I dare you to listen to this list and NOT want to slather your body from head to toe with lotion and lounge around feeling fine…
