I started deep cleaning my house – starting with my linen closet – back in January (yes, I’m still working on it, haha). While cleaning I made an embarrassingly long wish list of items I’d love to own to assist with organization, and I’ve been slowly whittling away at the list over the past five months.
One of the items on my list was an ironing board hanger. We keep our iron in the upstairs linen closet, and while it has a nice little spot tucked beside the door, it kinda bugs me that it’s just propped up against the wall. I always bump into it while vacuuming and more than once I’ve knocked it over while rummaging around for items. It’s such an insignificant first world problem, but I really, really, REALLY wanted to buy an ironing board hanger.
Initially I wanted to DIY this project, but after finding this unit on Amazon for just slightly more than what it would cost me to make it, I figured I’d just buying the pre-made one, haha. (Hey, I know my limits!)
This unit has a strong metal frame and sturdy hooks, and the hooks are wide and thick enough to hold our ironing board and ironing accessories in our linen closet. Installation took just a few minutes. While my husband grumbled that the quality is cheap, and that he could make one better, I still think for the money that it looks good and is fairly solid, and it does the trick!
So now my fully stocked, fully organized linen closet is (almost) complete! Now I just need to convince my husband that it’s time to upgrade all our bath towels….
(PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a sponsored post. This is a product I found organically and purchased at full price. I just wanted to share with my readers because I found these to be of interest and high value!)
Such a clever idea!
It certainly helps to spruce things up in the linen closet!
