Here are some photos of our quick trip down to Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center!
We have discovered that with a toddler and infant in tow, sitting in on panels is impossible, walking the vendor floor is pointless without cash (see: toddler and infant), and sticking to a schedule of any kind is a feat for the gods.
So we spent our trip to Comikaze wandering the con dressed as The Man in the Yellow Hat, Curious George, Gnocchi the Cat and Professor Wiseman. We spent a solid day chasing Tessa around, stopping to pose for pictures, and seeing what little of the vendor hall that we could. Fun times!
But I will say, if it’s on Halloween weekend again next year, not gonna do it. WAY too hard to plan for. HEAR THAN STAN LEE?!?! *narrows eyes* Anyway, here’s our pix!
Thank you!! It’s so hard to finish costumes now that Tessa is older and wants to get into everything! My mom had to get them started for me and cut out patterns so I could finish it up last minute.. and even then, she had to watch the girls for the weekend!! lol!
Aw, cute photos. Yeah, I would imagine having kids would make it difficult to get around some of the fun activities. Sounds like a cool event though! I hope it’s not on Halloween weekend next year though.
Absolutely amazing photo’s – love them all – costumes are terrific!
All the best Jan

Aw, looked like such a fun time and yet can totally understand not wanting to try this if it is Halloween weekend next year at all!
Yeah, traffic to LA during the holidays is killer (sometimes literally, eep!) and it’s such a hassle!

Yeah, I know a lot of people like it because they can pull out their Halloween costumes, but it totally throws off the holiday weekend for me!!
Gorgeous colors, I love how you styled this outfit it’s absolutely perfect.
