Hey there, fellow dreamers! Hold onto your Mickey ears because I’ve got quite the tale to tell from my recent escapade at Disney Springs. Its was an evening filled with anticipation, thrill, and a pinch of detective work, all in pursuit of unraveling the mystery behind the mesmerizing new Dreams That Soar drone show. Buckle up as I take you through this whirlwind of a journey!
The excitement began before the sun even dipped below the horizon. Armed with enthusiasm and an insatiable curiosity, my family met up with my trusty companion Pam and her adorable son Dean, as we arrived a whopping three hours before the show at Disney Springs. We were on a mission to be among the first to witness the spectacle that everyone’s been buzzing about.
As we joined the queue (about 7 or 8 groups in line at this point) a palpable energy crackled in the air. Disney enthusiasts of all ages chattered excitedly, swapping tales of past adventures and sharing their anticipation for what lay ahead. But Pam and I had more than just the show on our minds; we had a side quest of our own – to uncover the wizard behind the curtain, the Imagineer responsible for bringing Dreams That Soar to life – Tony Giordano.
Now, I must admit, we may have indulged in a tad bit of detective work. Okay, maybe more than a tad. Armed with nothing but determination and a Wi-Fi connection, we embarked on a quest worthy of Sherlock Holmes himself. Our tools? Past news articles, interview photos, and a dash of good old-fashioned intuition.
We delved deep into the digital archives, piecing together clues like modern-day sleuths. (Don’t judge us too harshly, we were in line for 3 hours, after all!) But lo and behold, success! Pam – the real MVP in this endeavor – led us straight to our elusive quarry and spotted him in the crowd: Tony Giordano, the mastermind behind the magic. With our mission accomplished and our excitement levels soaring higher than Tinker Bell on Pixie Dust, we settled in for the main event. As the sun dipped below the horizon and the first stars twinkled overhead, Dreams That Soar unfolded before our eyes in a symphony of light and sound. It was nothing short of enchanting – a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of the brilliant minds at Disney Imagineering.
As the last drone faded into the night sky, leaving us spellbound and utterly captivated, we got to brave the absolute madhouse that was thousands of Disney fans all attempting to leave a tight space at the same time. (I’m happy to report that we were one of the lucky ones that were able to escape right away.. Pam, not so much, haha!)
Our adventure may have begun as a quest for entertainment, but it ended as so much more – a testament to the magic of Disney and the power of friendship. (Awwwww!)
