Hey there, fellow food enthusiasts and Disney aficionados! Today, I come bearing tales of pastry adventures and sugary shenanigans straight from the magical realm of Disney Springs.
So it’s Mother’s Day, and my husband and kiddos let ME decide what we do for the day. Since our annual passes are still in the works (ahhh, why is that pesky Florida residency taking sooooo long!?) I figured what better way to celebrate than with a special treat from Amorette’s Patisserie? I saw this item listed on the Disney Parks official blog and I was SOLD!
Nestled in the heart of Disney Springs, this quaint little patisserie is a haven for pastry lovers and a paradise for those with a sweet tooth the size of Cinderella’s castle. Upon entering Amorette’s, we were greeted by a symphony of sweet aromas and a visual feast of delicate pastries adorning the display cases. But my eyes were immediately drawn to the pièce de résistance – the Mother’s Day Lemon and Lavender Éclair. (But oh me gee, how tempting everything else looked!!!!)
Now, let me paint you a picture of this delectable delight. The éclair was a work of art in itself. But the taste is what truly stole the show. With each bite, I was transported to a lavender-scented paradise, where tangy lemon custard danced harmoniously with floral notes, leaving me in a state of pure bliss. It was like a hug from Mary Poppins herself – practically perfect in every way!
We also picked up an assortment of macarons – it was a challenge to choose just a few flavors! But with the expert guidance of the friendly staff, we managed to assemble a box of these colorful confections that would make even the Mad Hatter green with envy.
But it wasn’t just the pastries that enchanted us – it was the magic happening behind the scenes. As we watched the talented bakers meticulously crafting each creation with precision and care, we couldn’t help but feel like we were witnessing a culinary ballet. And the best part? The kids were absolutely mesmerized, already planning future parent / kid dates at this spot.
Located in the Marketplace area, Amorette’s Patisserie is a must-visit destination for anyone with a penchant for pastries and a love for all things Disney.
