Easter is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some fun and colorful Easter eggs? Bonus when the project involves things you already have on hand in your kitchen or bathroom cabinets!
Today, I’m going to show you a fun and easy way to make marbled Easter eggs using fingernail polish! This is a great activity to do with your kids, and the results are so pretty.
Here’s what you’ll need:
– Hard-boiled eggs
– Fingernail polish in various colors
– A disposable container (such as a paper cup)
– Warm water
– Toothpicks or skewers
– Paper towels
Instructions:
1. Fill your disposable container with warm water. It should be deep enough to fully submerge an egg.
2. Drop a few drops of fingernail polish into the water. You can use as many or as few colors as you’d like.
3. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors around in the water. You can create whatever design you’d like!
4. Carefully place an egg into the water. You can use a spoon to help guide it in.
5. Roll the egg around in the water to pick up the nail polish. You can also use the toothpick or skewer to help create a marbled effect.
6. Once the egg is fully coated, use the toothpick or skewer to remove it from the water and place it on a paper towel to dry.
7. Repeat the process with the remaining eggs, adding more nail polish to the water as needed.
8. Allow the eggs to dry completely before displaying or using them.
And that’s it! These marbled Easter eggs are a fun and creative way to celebrate the holiday with your kids. Plus, they make for some beautiful decorations around the house. Happy Easter!
