One of our go to local outings as a family is the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. As members, we get to go play in Stingray Bay for free, and we can’t ever miss a chance to feed the giraffes!
We also spend longer than we should lounging around in folding chairs while Tessa – our little budding archaeologist – digs around at Dino Dig, getting dirty and uncovering a T-Rex skeleton.
Being horribly behind in blogging, we took these photos weekend before last, but I just thought I’d share some photos from our last day at the zoo with you all! <3
Oh what a lovely … lovely post.
Your photo’s are brilliant and your girls adorable – you must be so proud.
Big hugs to them from me – what a lovely day for all the family.
All the best Jan

Great pictures Gingi. I have one question though: why is your husband and Tessa in most of them? LOL That last picture of Tessa looks like it came straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. 🙂 Enjoy those memories.
Gingi… your youngest is growing so fast and Tessa seems to be enjoying herself immensely. We have a wildlife park outside the city… my youngest always enjoyed going but we always have to wait to get a drive there xox ♡
I love going to zoos! There is something so special about being up close and personal with animals you would never have the opportunity to see otherwise.
Tessa is adorable. Nuff said. ANd yes, the zoo is totally one of our big hangout spots as well. The giraffes are a big hit with our family too. But I’m a little jealous of the brown bear and stingrays, no such luck here. Sounds like a fun, family trip. Gotta have those. Blogging, who needs that? Ha.
Oh, I love the zoo. There is something pretty magical about watching kids and animals, isn’t there? They are just captivated. Creation just blows me away…
Wow, I haven’t been to a zoo in such a long time. So these photos just made me relive some of my old memories at the zoo. This was such a beautiful post.
My toddler will be very ecstatic to see a giraffe, much more feed it! But we don’t have giraffes in our country so we rely on photos and videos. 🙂 What a fun weekend you had!
Tess’s hair is getting curly! And Thyme is so big already! You are so blessed Gingi. 🙂
I very much agree! <3 <3
I remember the first time I saw a bear at the zoo, I wasn’t sure it was a bear. Their faces look very different close up than they do on TV. LOL! xo
Right?! I kind of had the same reaction, haha!

LOL, because I’m usually the one hogging the camera! 😉
Awesome photos. So happy it’s close enough that you guys can go often. They grow up so fast.
These photos are so cute! Looks like it was such a fun time!

They are growing SO fast! I can’t even believe it!
Those boots your daughter is wearing are adorable! I wish our zoo had stingrays!
Yeah, they look like little mice.. they even have tiny tails! hehe!

What a great shot with the giraffe! You really get good shots. Every photo I have of the zoo is of the tiny gorilla or monkey from way far away lol.
Looks like so much fun!
