It’s been 13 days of eating a clean, whole foods diet and my skin is already clearing up and looking and feeling much healthier!
Whenever my skin is looking great, I always get inspired to show it some extra love. (Isn’t that odd? Skin looks like crap and I just neglect it worse.. looking good and I pamper it… makes sense?!)
Anyhoo, I am huge fan of kitchen beauty tonics, and this one is two ingredient, always-have-these-on-hand go to!
If, like me, you want to skip the artificial ingredients in store bought masks (and the tough-to-swallow price tags at the spa) then check out this easy DIY fridge facial. Not only is it inexpensive and easy, but it’s also eco-friendly – no packaging to thrash and no leaving the home to scavenge for ingredients.
This mask is excellent for acne prone skin, and helps to shrink pores, tighten wrinkles and clear blemishes!
Simple DIY Egg and Honey Mask
Mix 1 raw egg with 1 tablespoon of raw honey.
Cover your face with a layer of the mixture and let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes to tighten pores, tone the skin and kill bacteria, without drying your skin out.
Rinse with warm water.
If you’d like, follow up with your favorite moisturizer. <3
