We all know essential oils have taken the world over by storm. With such vast medicinal properties (depending on the plant they are derived from) essential oils cover a WIDE range of maladies and mindsets, and essential oils have proven their therapeutic worth time and again.
While I am no stranger to essential oils, I do not use them as often or as intuitively as I would like. I do, on occasion, find recommendations for essential oil for areas I am working on or struggling with (weight loss, feeling grounded, root chakra work, sleep, focus, etc.) and then I slowly expand the contents of my essential oil chest. Sadly, as my oil collection grows, my ability to use my oils hasn’t.
My two methods of essential oil use are: My office oil diffuser and topical use (usually as a lotion or in my bath).
Whyyyyy am I limiting myself?! There are SO MANY great methods to use essential oils and incorporate them more into your daily life. From lotions to sprays to diffusers, and there are countless easy and inexpensive tools that can get the most out of your essential oils – which is great news, if like me you are sitting on dozens of oils you aren’t using because you’re not sure how.
I recently had the pleasure of trying some products from Your Oil Tools, a virtual playground of essential oil products and supplies and a mecca for learning and educating yourself on practical essential oil uses and techniques.
One of the products that really struck my fancy as a bead bracelet wearing fanatic, is the essential oil diffuser lava rock bracelets (CLICK HERE to check out / buy!). Your Oil Tools has a beautiful collection of essential oil bracelets for you to choose from! You can choose a diffuser bracelet from their high-quality selection for a fraction of the cost of most other natural stone jewelry shops.
This has to be, by far, the easiest and most discreet form of effortless aromatherapy. Essential oil aromatherapy has been proven to help improve mood, along with a host of other benefits, depending on the particular oil. Basically, by using a beautiful and discrete aromatherapy bracelet, you can reap the benefits of essential oils without being obvious.
The natural lava beads in the bracelet also help to enhance the essential oils abilities. Lava beads are made from volcanic rock and they are a highly absorbent material. When you add essential oils to them, they hold onto those oils throughout the day. The result is that they slowly release the essential oils scent all day long. And as lava stone beads are made from naturally formed volcanic rock, known as basalt, it also means that they’re very grounding. For those of you like me who into the woo aspects of natural bead wearing, this is another massive bonus.
How to Use an Essential Oil Aromatherapy Bracelet:
Add a few drops of essential oils to the lava rocks, about 1-2 drops which you can spread with your fingers.
Enjoy the aromatherapy for hours at a time!
It’s seriously that easy!! The porous nature of these beads is perfectly suited to essential oil use, as it absorbs and diffuses oils while being an attractive and comfortable addition to your everyday style.

With as often as I use essential oils, I don’t have an aroma therapy bracelet! They are pretty, too! I need to try this!
Yeah, I was kind of staring at the bracelet on my wrist thinking… WHY haven’t I tried this before now?! lol
Never heard about aroma therapy bracelets, but I like the concept!

It really does last all day. Made the mistake of using a clove and cinnamon oil mixture and spent the day smelling like a Christmas wreath tho, haha! 😉
