I wasn’t able to indulge in my usual pyro antics this year, as my daughter decided she want to be a commie. THESE COLORS DON’T RUN TESSA!! Stop hiding from the fireworks!!!
In all seriousness though, it was a fun and safe fourth of July for us and I am feeling very blessed and grateful for the freedoms America offers. I hope to do my part in preserving those freedoms in the coming months / years! God Bless America!!! <3

BABY boy hud from the noise of the fireworks, too! I kept warning him all day and he was excited to go, but then didn’t watch lol
Now, he’s obsessed a bit with seeing them in pictures! 🙂
Tessa isn’t scared of ANYTHING so I was really surprised when she freaked out! She kept saying “owwwie!!” and hiding! lol…
Sounds like your family had a wonderful 4th! We love it too minus the fireworks. My dogs think they are guns and someone is trying to kill them. So it’s a week of sleepless nights as they hyperventilate next to me in bed shaking in fear! Oh well. God Bless America!!!

Too cute! Alex was the same way at Tessa’s age. She would only wear her Belle dress from Beauty and the Beast. I had two so I could wash one while she wore the other. I’m happy you had a wonderful celebration.

Awww, these photos are so precious! I remember when my niece (who is now 19 years old) was little. She would run in the house and hide under blankets when it came time for fireworks. She loves them now! So there’s hope for Tessa. Love her outfit, btw. Very patriotic!

Belated 4th of July greetings! Same with my girl when she was little – so come Chinese New Year every year (it’s like the Third World War here – every house letting of firecrackers and fireworks), we would have to fly off somewhere peaceful and quiet and come back when the coast was clear.
