This month has been so busy, so hectic, so unplanned and so maddeningly chaotic that we did not take formal family Christmas photos this year – a tradition that I had instituted just last year and have already broken by year two. haha. But you know what? I don’t really mind. Life happens, and it’s wonderful, even in it’s most frustrating moments.
We spent Christmas Day at the Sequoia National Park in California, playing in the snow! We were woefully unprepared (both the hubby and I forgot our gloves, and did not have appropriate winter wear), and the snow was hard packed and icy (not great for snowballs or snowmen) but it was an absolute blast. This was Tessa’s second Christmas and her very first time experiencing snow!
We’re feeling blessed beyond belief and we are filled with Christmas cheer! To everyone who has shared in our journey this year, THANK YOU and I do hope you stick around for another year or two. I can’t wait to see what the new year brings, and I look forward to keeping in touch with all of my new friends, adopted family, and fellow bloggers.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! And let’s have a Happy New Year!!
Wow, my husband has that jacket your husband has!
Also, this looks like magic. And a winter wonderland. We had a very green Christmas in New Jersey. My heart is often on the west coast.
Where did you get it? We were just talking about buying him a new one, his is falling apart.. I got it as a Christmas gift 5 years ago from Forever 21, lol. We’re on the search for a new one, since Forever 21 doesn’t sell it anymore!
Lol, I was wondering if anyone would notice that we forgot the gloves, hehe! We were rushing out the door Christmas morning and so focused on keeping tessa warm, we forgot about ourselves! Lol.. Luckily it wasn’t too cold out and we had a blast!
Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. 🙂
