I am so excited to be reviewing another great product from Good Directions! I’ve made it no secret over the last year that when it comes to splurging on outdoor lawn, garden and home goodies, this company is among one of my favorites.
I decided to review a bird feeder because I have a gorgeous and secluded ivy and vine draped front porch that attracts a lot of local birds that like to perch in the overhanging magnolia tree branches, or venture down into the ivy tangled seating area. I already have a hummingbird feeder for the tiny winged visitors, and I like to sprinkle seeds on the ground for the local doves that feed from the floor, but the poor little brown birds in the region haven’t been getting any love from the Freemans!
I can think of no better way to remedy this situation than to turn to Good Directions. (Get it? Turn? Directions? Okay, so it wasn’t that funny…)

About the Bird Feeder
The all-new Copper Palazzo Bird Feeder by Good Directions is both traditional and modern. This unique feeder combines the classic lines of Eastern design with contemporary Western flair. Featuring an easy-to-clean tube feeder topped with a pagoda-style copper-finished roof, the design is both familiar and unique. Handsomely crafted rivets embellish each edge for a distinctive, eye-catching effect.
The lipped feeding tray – with convenient drain holes built in – prevents waste and keeps seed dry for your feathered friends.
This bird feeder is easy to hang, fill and clean and a features a 1 1/3-pound seed capacity.
My Thoughts on the Bird Feeder
First of all, when I unpacked the feeder, my two year old gasped in delight and immediately declared, “My doo doo nommy!” Translation: Doo doo = bird (for the chirping sound birds make: doo doo doo doo!) and Nommy = yummy food.
So I guess you can say the feeder passes the preliminary test of being an iconic feeder that even a toddler can recognize, haha! All joking aside though, this feeder is very handsome and extremely well made.
We put this beauty tucked up into the vines of our front porch, next to the hummingbird feeder, and within hours already had birds using it, perched happily on the ample room of the feeding tray.
As I have stated before in previous reviews, Good Directions cuts no corners in quality – the copper pagoda style roof with rivets has obviously been built for beauty and longevity. This attractive bird feeder is definitely a cut above what you would typically find in a store with mass produced merchandise.
Personally, I LOVE the crafted rivets, these are my favorite element of the piece. It makes me feel Like I am hanging a functional piece of art.
I am EXTREMELY pleased with the strength and quality of this bird feeder. It’s definitely a pass down to the children keepsake / garden heirloom!
Good Directions has an amazing variety of unique and classic garden items featuring high-quality craftsmanship, which I would encourage you to check out if you are curious about the company. (CLICK HERE to see their full online catalogue!)

This one is close to my heart as I really love birds. My daughter actually sort of laughs at how much I love birds. I think this is really beautiful, and would make a great Christmas gift. Hope my family is listening:)
I am trying to foster a love of birds in my little girls.. I even have binoculars and a bird identification book by the window for bird watching on our porch!
Such a gorgeous bird feeder! I have one that I love…. but I’ve had to bring it in when I’m not watching it because of the BEAR that was in my backyard 🙁
I like the design of the bird feeder and that it is copper which weathers well. I wish I could put my feeder back up but I have a problem with squirrels eating out of it instead of the intended birds.

i am currently obsessed with copper, so I love this!!
I have always been a sucker for copper… it makes me feel fancy! haha
I love our bird feeders! And even the squirrels can’t leave them alone, constantly figuring out away to hop right over every barrier known to man …
;-}
We don’t have squirrels here in the Central Valley (at least in the residential areas) so we are relatively squirrel free, haha..
Sounds very interesting!
